1. Design Consultation:

• Initial consultations are complimentary and can be scheduled in-person or virtually.
• During the consultation, we will discuss your design ideas, preferences, budget, and timeline.

2. Design Process:

• Post-consultation, our designers will craft a preliminary sketch or digital rendering of your bespoke piece. 
• Non-refundable design charge of $350 and up depending on complexity of the design.
• You are entitled to 2 revisions of the design. Subsequent revisions may incur additional charges. $75 per revision after the first 2.
• Modifications that change the design completely are subject to a new $350 design charge with $75 for revisions.
• Changes after final approval are subject to $75 per additional revision.

3. Estimates:

• A comprehensive estimate will be provided following the approval of the final design. This estimate will encompass costs for materials, labor, and any supplementary services.
• A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated cost is requisite to commence production.

4. Production Timeline:

• The production timeline will be communicated alongside the estimate. Standard production time spans from 4 to 8 weeks, contingent on the complexity of the design and material availability.
• Expedited orders may be accommodated for an additional fee.

5. Final Payment:

• The remaining balance is due upon the completion of the piece and prior to delivery or pickup.
• We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and cash.

6. Returns and Exchanges:

• Custom jewelry pieces are crafted to your specifications and thus are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
• Should there be a defect in craftsmanship or materials, we will repair the item at no additional cost within 30 days of delivery.
• Any modifications or repairs requested beyond the 30-day period may incur additional charges.

7. Warranty:

• We offer a one-year warranty on all custom jewelry pieces, covering defects in materials and craftsmanship.
• The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.

8. Customer Satisfaction:

• Your satisfaction is our paramount concern. Should you have any concerns or issues with your custom piece, please contact us immediately, and we will endeavor to resolve them to your satisfaction.

Custom Jewelry Warranty Policy

At Jay Kenneth Designs, we are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and quality in every custom piece we create. We proudly stand behind our work and offer the following warranty for all custom jewelry.

1-Year Warranty Coverage

All custom jewelry created by Jay Kenneth Designs is covered under a one-year limited warranty from the date of delivery or pickup. This warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
• Loose prongs or settings (not caused by impact or misuse)
• Solder joints or structural issues resulting from our craftsmanship

Complimentary Services Included During Warranty Period

• Free Jewelry Cleaning
• Routine Inspections (recommended every 4–6 months to maintain integrity and safety of stones and settings)

These services help maintain the longevity and beauty of your piece.

What’s Not Covered

The following are not covered under this warranty:

• Loss or damage due to misuse, accidents, or impact
• Theft or loss of the jewelry piece or any of its components
• Damage from exposure to chemicals, water, or extreme force
• Normal wear and tear (including surface scratches, worn metals, and patina)
• Work performed on the piece by another jeweler or repair service

Warranty Voiding

Any alterations, resizing, or repairs made by an outside jeweler will void this warranty.

Stone Replacement Policy

We take great care in setting all stones securely. However, if a melee (accent) stone becomes loose or lost within the first year due to a manufacturer issue, we will replace it at no charge.

Loss of center stones is not covered under warranty and should be protected under a personal insurance policy.

Client Responsibility

• Maintain regular inspections (we recommend twice annually)
• Handle your jewelry with care and remove during physical activities, heavy labor, or contact with chemicals
• Secure appropriate jewelry insurance for high-value pieces
